What does viaBanking actually do, in plain words?
We put open banking and your C2B settlement account in one view. Without us, a merchant runs an open banking service in one dashboard and watches money land on a separate account in another. You jump between two cabinets to match a payment to a real credit. With viaBanking, we orchestrate AIS and PIS through licensed providers and connect to your own C2B account at your provider. Money goes directly to that account, we never hold or move funds, we only have read-only access to confirm the money has actually arrived. One view, one source of truth. One integration.
Why is one dashboard better than two? What about payer fraud?
A bank payment has two final states, and they do not always agree. The payer confirms the payment in their bank and you get a first final status of "success". That only means consent was granted. The payer can still cancel in their bank before the money actually leaves, and the funds never arrive. When open banking and the receiving account sit in different systems, that gap is hard to track and merchants book losses on payments that never settled. We close the gap. Because the C2B account is on our side, you see the real credit, not just the consent. You act on money in the account, not on a status that can still flip.
How does this help merchants reduce payment losses?
Release goods, services or account credit when the money is on the account, not when the bank returns the first "success" status. The unified view from AIS, PIS and the C2B account lets you wait for the actual credit before unlocking value in-product. Fewer fulfilments on payments that get pulled back, less payer-fraud loss, and no toggling between two cabinets to reconcile.
Is the sandbox really free?
Yes. The sandbox is free, and you need no card to start. Run AIS and PIS calls against sample data from day one.
When do I start paying?
You pay only when you go live. Sandbox use stays free. Production billing is usage-based, so cost tracks how much you call the API.
Are there license fees?
No. We add no license weight to your product. You pay for usage, and nothing more. That keeps your stack light.
Do AIS and PIS cost extra?
No. Both come through the same connection. You read account data and start payments from one integration, on every plan.
Will I get locked in?
No. We orchestrate open banking providers and C2B accounts, we do not replace them. viaBanking is the orchestration layer, so money flows stay with your providers and banks. Keep your own provider and bank relationships, and swap providers whenever you want.
How does enterprise pricing work?
